Question: Does Sigma have plans to change the Sigma SA mount connector to the Four Thirds connector?

 

Answer: “There is no such plan at the present. We participates in Four Thirds in 2003, it was the preceeding year that we released the SD9 DSLR. Because the presence of the SD series customer, the priority of development therefore is the completeness of the SD system”, “If the demand for Four Thirds mount is high, then we must think about it. However, there’s currently a plan to make multiple SD product series line-up, we cannot consider this until such development is completed. To Sigma, we will prioritize on our customers first.”

 

Question: Are you saying that you’re currently developing the next generation SD product lineup?

 

Answer: “It is impossible for us not to advance. We will announce formally later, please wait. We will do so before the SD series is forgotten by the users.” “In regards to the SD series, it is not only due to our own enthusiasm, but most important is the big support we got from the users. In the foreign country, some SD users published a collection of photograph work for a SD series. We have to continue support of the SD series in order to answer the support from these users.”

 

Question: What’s the class level of the next generation SD, what is the product positioning?

 

Answer: “First, the Foveon sensor is used. In regards to the product segmentation, when you divide at price, it will come off from the original intention. We do not segment the product based on the price, but to apply good use of the Foveon sensor in order to satisfy existing SD series users and to meet the expectations of those who are interested in this new product. At the same time, we will need to satisfy our needs in the DSLR camera features and functionality.”

 

Question: Will there be surprises with the new SD series?

 

Answer: “Yes. Please wait for the surprise.”

Перспективу они искажают с одинаковой силой, если взять один и тот же угол обзора.

Камрады, вы чего? Перспектива однозначно выражается только через расстояние до объекта съёмки. Который для данной сцены зависит от угла зрения объектива, конечно.

Вот и я о том же.

 

ЗЫ: Если подобрать угол обзора и размытие для СФ и 35мм, то кадры все равно будут разные. Почему? Потому что для объектива 35мм это будет самая открытая дырка на сверх светосиле и он будет мылить слегка в зоне резкости. А СФ объектив будет слегка закрыт (уж точно дырка сильнее зажата чем 2.8) и будет очень резко рисовать то что в зоне ГРИП. https://academ.club/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Может быть и наоборот. Например, возьмем на 6х4.5 объектив 80/2.8, а на 35 мм с таким же (примерно) углом обзора 50/1.4. Так его для той же ГРИП как раз придется примерно до 1.8 закрыть https://academ.club/html/emoticons/smile.gif.

Ну, но на 2.8 на большем формате, 80тник четче будет рисовать чем 50тник на 1.8 https://academ.club/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Nikon to bundle T-Mobile Wi-Fi with next COOLPIX

Nikon has announced that its upcoming COOLPIX S51c camera, due later this month, will come with a special subscription offer to promote its wireless functions. Users will be able sign up for a free six-month period of T-Mobile's HotSpot, a series of about 8,500 Wi-Fi points located in places such as airports, Borders, Kinko's and Starbucks. This will then allow people to send photos and video directly from the camera, using Nikon's my Picturetown service to guide the photos towards e-mail, websites like Flickr, or owners of BlackBerry phones.

 

The S51c is an 8.1-megapixel camera, and has features such as ISO 1600 sensitivity and the EXPEED image processor used in the D300. Its lens has 3x optical zoom, and uses a mechanical image stabilizer to reduce blur. Pricing is set at $330.

Такая камера для съёмок природы - самое то. Фотообои всякие щёлкать. Выездные фототессии. А что, девайс килобаксов за 50 уже дальше 2 метров от сейфа никак нельзя относить?
